A Liberal project aims to impact election oversight by politicizing election officials! Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, the state’s chief election officer is chairman of the Minnesota Canvassing Board, which on Monday certified that Al Franken received 225 more votes than Senator Norm Coleman did. Ritchie gave partial credit for his 2006 election to a liberal 527 group, the Secretary of State Project, which says its goal is to replace conservative secretaries of state with liberal Democrats. SoS isn’t just focusing on the state level. It says in 2008 it also concentrated on electing “reform-minded” Democrats to key county-level posts in battleground states.

Does Hollywood Love Christians Now? [11]
The Democratic-controlled, all-white U.S. Senate has just refused to seat Roland Burris, the black appointee from Illinois. Democrats fear that he would lose the Democratic seat if he ran in the next election. [12] Rep. Bobby Rush, (D-Ill), accused the Senate leadership of racism. I think that if Roland Burris hadn't been an African American, then he would have been allowed to accept the appointment and become a senator.[13]
Speaking of Roland Burris's appointment, it is reported that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), called Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich urging him not to pick an African American! In a blatantly racist move, typical of liberal deceit, Reid said he thought an African American would have "difficulty" winning state-wide election. Wasn't the Senator being replaced, Barack Obama, an African American who won a state-wide election? [14]
Insight of the day: the Gospels do not use the secular concept of the "past", and neither did Jesus. See Disputed Biblical Translations.
Leon Panetta will head Obama’s CIA. According to Michelle Malkin, it's another day and another clueless Clinton crony named to a top job for which he has no experience. While Panetta might have no experience in intelligence gathering, he does have a great deal of experience in politics. [15] Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who this week assumes the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, took a slap at both Barack Obama and Panetta: "I was not informed about the selection of Leon Panetta to be the CIA director,” My position has consistently been that I believe the agency is best served by having an intelligence professional in charge at this time.” A spokesman for Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D.-W.V.), who served as intelligence chairman in the last Congress, indicated that Rockefeller was "puzzled" by Obama’s selection of Panetta. [16]
Hollywood Conservatives Encouraged to Come Out of the Closet
Andrew Breitbart, the conservative founder of Breitbart.com and author of "Hollywood Interrupted: Insanity Chic in Babylon," is launching a Web site he hopes will help challenge the status quo in what he believes has been a one-party, left-tilting town. Set to debut on Jan. 6, "Big Hollywood" will be a place where center, right and libertarian-leaning celebrities and industry-insiders can weigh in on Hollywood politics, offer film, television and movie reviews, and have an open forum for political discussion. "The ranks of America's home-schooled children have continued a steady climb over the past five years, and new research suggests broader reasons for the appeal." Nearly 1 in 30 students are homeschooled today.[18]

China targets Google in pornography crackdown
China launched a major crackdown on pornography targeting popular online portals and search engines including Google. China's State Council is working to "protect the healthy development of minors." When will the U.S. protect American children from accessing Google pornography? [21]
Hamas and Its Liberal Supporters are Responsible for the Current Crisis: [22]
Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid demonstrates how he is the dumbest man in Washington. In explaining why he insists that the all-white Senate refuse to seat the black appointee Roland Burris, Reid declared, "It's not the person that has been appointed, it's the appointee."[23] Reid is dumber than even the internet vandals. Bill Richardson Withdraws as Commerce Secretary-Designate
Richardson, who is the governor of New Mexico, is facing a federal grand jury investigation into whether he exchanged government contracts for contributions to his failed presidential bid last year. [24]
Michelle Obama is copying Jackie Kennedy Onassis: "Her obvious imitation of Jackie O's style -- the flipped-under hair, the sleeveless A-line dresses, the short strands of fake pearls -- would have been laughable if done by anyone other than a media-designated saint," writes Ann Coulter in her new book.[25]
Conservapedians begin plans for attending the March for Life. More homeschoolers are expected to show the initiative, take the effort and attend than all public schoolers combined.
Liberal wants to be Governor
Another liberal Democratic bozo wants a top government job: Terry McAuliffe, who has never held public office before, announces that he wants to be governor of Virginia.[26] Will Al Franken campaign for him?
A company appears to be ready for a lot of specialized wikis to be rolled out that may eat away at Wikipedia's market share.[27]
WorldNetDaily reports: "In Washington state, attorney Stephen Pidgeon is representing 12 plaintiffs in a case that claims to have standing under a unique Washington statute that allows any registered voter to challenge the election of someone who, at the time of the election, was ineligible to hold the office. The suit intends to include a subpoena of Obama's Hawaii birth certificate. The case is scheduled for argument before the Washington Supreme Court on Jan. 8."[28]
Another reason for homeschooling ... Public Schools Change Young Evangelicals' Values
Phyllis Schlafly asks, "What caused young evangelicals, the children of the so-called 'religious right,' to change their moral imperatives so dramatically? Most likely it's the attitudes and decision-making they learned in the public schools, which 89 percent of U.S. students attend." [29]
Girls Need a Dad and Boys Need a Mom
"Further, stable homes include specific talk about religion and support for children's involvement in religious activities." [30]
Is Religion Necessary? Yes
"The least understood idea presented in Mitt Romney's 2007 speech on religion was his statement, 'Freedom requires religion just as religion requires freedom.'" [31]
"U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush forcefully backed Blagojevich's decision on the basis of race this week, warning the public not to 'lynch' Blagojevich's Senate pick."[32] Bobby Rush defeated Obama in a congressional primary election in 2000 by a 2-1 margin.

Detroit has been at the forefront of a growing but controversial movement that aims to boost student achievement by splitting the sexes into different schools. [33]
"The New York Times said while Kennedy is forceful, she remains elusive, and noted that she never answered directly whether she would actually run in an election for the Senate seat if she weren't appointed first."[34]
Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich has appointed African American Roland Burris to Obama's Senate seat, but the Democratic Senate vows to block him from being sworn in.[35] Obama's aide had reportedly pushed Blagojevich earlier to pick a crony of Obama who had never been elected to public office before.
In our biggest expansion in over a year, Conservapedia is bringing in the New Year by promoting 6 new Sysops.
Congratulations to the new Sysops:
HERE'S TO AN EVEN BETTER 2009!!!
It appears as if more and more Americans doubt whether Obama is a natural born citizen and therefore legally entitled to be President of the United States. The numbers of Americans who are concerned about this issue may be extremely large. The liberal "mainstream" media continues to be negligent in doing their duty when it comes to informing the public and about this issue. [36] It is no surprise that the very liberal New York Times has lost 60 percent of its stock value in 2008 as consumers keep finding alternative news content and companies find better places to advertise and sell their products.
Only 17% of Chicago's eighth-grade students can read at grade-level, and the man who's administered that school system is Obama's choice to be the secretary of education: [37]
Michelle Malkin: The bottomless UAW money pit
"What does the UAW stand for? Unending Abuse and Waste." [38]
Time to revisit the UAW's own past discrimination against those Americans who dared to drive a vehicle with a foreign nameplate, never mind the fact that the drivers in this example wear the uniform of the United States Marine Corps: [39]
In one area, Christian schools are on the rise, with enrollment growing by 25 percent.[40]
Peter LaBarbera recently wrote an interesting piece about Obama's doublespeak on the issue of "homosexual marriage". [41]
"The results of Che's utopian agenda aren't much to admire either. As author Paul Berman explained in 2004 in Slate, 'The cult of Ernesto Che Guevara is an episode in the moral callousness of our time. Che was a totalitarian. He achieved nothing but disaster.' The miserable Argentine was killed in 1967 in the Bolivian Andes while trying to spread revolution in South America. But his vision of how to govern lives on in the Cuba of today. It is a slave plantation, where a handful of wealthy white men impose their "morality" on the masses, most of whom are black and who suffer unspeakable privation with zero civil liberties.[42]
Christians called to abandon public education
"That all families, churches, pastors, major Christian ministries and organizations, concentrate for one year on extracting Christian children from the pagan, godless public schools."
"State-run public schools have become destructive to our children's Christian faith. They no longer educate but rather indoctrinate. Not only morally corrupt, public schools are unsafe because of the violence and crime that occurs in them on a regular basis." [43]
"The U.S. and international news media are falsely portraying an Israeli air strike against a Hamas-run university in the Gaza Strip, claiming a 'woman's wing' was targeted, when, according to the Israeli military, the target was a weapons lab at the school's chemistry department." [44]
The awkward co-dependence of blacks and liberal Democrats: [45]
Democratic "Senate Majority Leader Faces Tough Re-Election Race In 2010"; Harry Reid may be one of the liberals who loses his seat in 22 months.[46]
The Republican Governor of Florida, Charlie Crist, has stood up to the liberals and added a conservative to the list of potential nominees to the Florida Supreme Court. The leftist Palm Beach Post is squealing like a stuck pig.[47]
Phyllis Schlafly: Obama's Global Agenda
Mr. Obama's U.N. treaties are the enemy of U.S. political and social independence, and Mr. Kirk's global economic community is the enemy of good middle-class American jobs. [48]
