George Mason University is a Virginia public university founded in 1972.[2] It was ranked a third tier school in US News's 2008 "National Universities: Tier 3" list.[3]
George Mason
George Mason, the man for which the school is name, was a founding father of the United States of America. He drafted the Virginia Declaration of Rights, which served as the foundation for the first 10 amendments of the Bill of Rights.[4]
