Toronto is the largest city in Canada and the capital of the Province of Ontario. In the 2006 Canadian census, the city's population is 2,503,281 and its census metropolitan area (CMA) has a population of 5,113,149.[1] This makes it the 5th largest city in North America, and has a population larger than some Canadian Provinces. With such a size the city is a leader in Canadian Industry, business and banking, communications, media, education, and health care. Toronto also has a strong tourism industry with numerous recreational and historical attractions, such as the CN Tower, the Casa Loma, the Distillery District, and many more.
